Hey, everyone! The May 18th Four Stories is right around the corner! Or more specifically, on the corner—at the Middle East in Cambridge!
Suzanne Berne is the author of four novels and a book of nonfiction, including A Crime in the Neighborhood, which won Great Britain’s Orange Prize. She teaches creative writing at Boston College.
- Sarah Colwill-Brown's creative work has appeared in Solstice literary magazine, The Conium Review, Poetry & Audience, and elsewhere. She is the marketing manager and an instructor at GrubStreet creative writing center, and an incoming Writer-in-Residence at Wellspring House.
- Jonathan Escoffery is the winner of the 2016 Waasnode Fiction Prize, a 2017 Somerville Arts Council Artist Fellowship, and the 2017 Ivan Gold Fellowship from The Writers' Room of Boston. His writing has appeared in Prairie Schooner, Passages North, The Caribbean Writer, and elsewhere. Jonathan is currently a Writer-in-Residence at the Wellspring House in Ashfield, MA.
- Patrick Gabridge’s novels include Steering to Freedom, Moving [a life in boxes], and Tornado Siren. He is a widely-produced playwright and currently has a play about quantum physics, Both/And, at the MIT Museum, and his site-specific historical play about the Boston Massacre, Blood on the Snow, opens at the Old State House on June 1st.
